Terms and Conditions
of Koneko

1. Applicability

1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements of Koneko, hereinafter referred to as “the webshop”.
1.2 By placing an order with the webshop, the customer agrees to the applicability of these general terms and conditions.

2. Orders

2.1 Orders can be placed through the website of the webshop.
2.2 Upon receipt of an order, the webshop sends a confirmation email to the customer’s provided email address.

3. Payment

3.1 All prices are stated in Euros (EUR) and include VAT unless otherwise specified.
3.2 Payment can be made via the payment methods offered on the website of the webshop.

4. Delivery

4.1 The delivery time is generally 5 working days unless otherwise stated for the product.
4.2 The delivery of the products takes place at the address specified by the customer.
4.3 During periods of absence due to vacation or personal circumstances, the delivery time of orders may be longer than usual.
4.3.1 During such periods of absence, a notice will be displayed on the website of the webshop, for example, through a prominent banner on the homepage, announcing expected delays and any adjustments to delivery times.
4.3.2 Customers are encouraged to consult this notice before placing an order to stay informed of any changes in delivery times.

5 Shipping Costs

5.1 Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the order, the dimensions of the order, the destination, and the chosen shipping method.
5.2 Shipping costs are clearly displayed during checkout before the order is finalized.
5.3 For orders above a certain amount, the webshop may offer free shipping, as stated on the website.
5.4 Any customs duties or import taxes applicable to international shipments are the responsibility of the customer.

6. Returns

6.1 Customers are advised to carefully review the descriptions and images of products before making a purchase.
6.2 The customer has the right to return products within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.
6.3 Returned products must be in original condition and packaging, unused and undamaged.
6.4 The costs of returning products are borne by the customer.

6.5 Due to the unique nature of vintage, remake, and artisanal products, return and refund policies may differ from those for regular products.
6.6 Personalized or custom-made products cannot be exchanged unless there is a defect or deviation from the specifications agreed upon during the order.
6.6.1 If a customer wishes to return a personalized or custom-made product due to a defect or deviation, they are expected to contact the customer service of the webshop within 14 days of receipt.
6.6.2 The webshop, Koneko, will do its best to work with the customer to find an appropriate solution, such as repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the problem and the availability of alternatives.

7. Warranty

7.1 The webshop guarantees the quality of the delivered products.
7.2 If a product is defective or does not meet the customer’s expectations, the customer must contact the webshop within 14 days of receipt.

8. Liability

8.1 The webshop is not liable for damage caused by the use of the delivered products.
8.2 The liability of the webshop is at all times limited to the amount of the order.

9. Maintenance and Care for Products

9.1 Customers are advised to handle vintage and remake products with care and to follow any specific maintenance and care instructions that may be provided.
9.2 The webshop is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use or maintenance of vintage products after receipt.

10.1 Koneko offers a variety of products, divided into different categories to meet the needs and preferences of our customers. These categories include, but are not limited to: vintage, remake, and artisanal products.

11. Vintage Products

11.2.1 Vintage products are items that are at least 20 years old and have stood the test of time.
11.1 The webshop will endeavor to ensure the authenticity of vintage products through careful inspection and verification.
11.2 Vintage products may show signs of wear or aging inherent to their age and history. These signs may include minor spots, scratches, discolorations, or other imperfections.
11.3 The webshop will strive to provide accurate and detailed descriptions of vintage products, including any defects or deviations from the original condition.
11.4 If applicable, any brand names, labels, or other features indicating the authenticity of vintage products will be clearly stated in the product descriptions.

12. Remake Products

12.1 Remake products are unique and are made from vintage garments that have been altered or transformed by the webshop.
12.2 Since remake products are handmade, they may exhibit minor variations in color, texture, and design, contributing to their unique character.
12.3 The webshop will strive to provide accurate and detailed descriptions of remake products including the vintage materials used, the alterations made, and any defects or deviations from the original condition.

13 Artisanal Products

13.1 Artisanal products are new items made with modern materials and manufacturing techniques but designed with inspiration from traditional Asian cultural elements or designs.
13.2 Descriptions of artisanal products will include information about their modern manufacturing and design, as well as any features inspired by traditional styles or subjects.

14. Limited Availability

14.1 Due to the unique nature and limited availability of vintage, remake, and artisanal products, certain items may only be available in limited quantities.
14.2 The webshop cannot guarantee that products can be replenished after they are sold out.

15. Customer Service

15.1 For questions, comments, or complaints, customers can contact the customer service of the webshop via the provided email address.
