This postcard set showcases a standout haiku from The Book of Now, brought to life by one of the talented illustrators. Pre-order now for the October 5th release, with updates provided if circumstances change.
What could visual poems look like? It’s the idea of capturing a moment using more than just words—feelings within a context, portrayed through a set of illustrations. The Book of Now consists of eight stories that show all the seasons of a year. While each illustrator brings their personal interpretation and materials to the table, the nature theme and structure unify the book. It’s truly a collaboration of textual and visual moments.
Photo that will be used in the book with words from the poem.
A haiku is the ideal fit for this project, and that’s how the poems became the backbone for our illustrations. The illustrators received descriptions for their three illustrations that would form the visual poem. However, they did not have the haiku itself. The illustrators were free to choose their own materials, interpretation, and style. Read more about the project >

The Book of Now began as a small project but has flourished with each collaboration. This international project is made possible by a talented haiku writer, eight (semi-)amateur illustrators, and a creative director. Book of Now provides a unique opportunity for creative individuals to see their art in print. Alone, we might not have achieved a printed art book. Together, we can!
